Since the year is ending, be smart when shopping for a car. Now is when you will be seeing many offers that promise the holiday deals that you can’t pass up. Zero interest. Big rebates. And don’t forget, no payments for over the expected time does cost you more money For example, no payments for three months will cost you.
There are good deals that will be in your favor, but remember, one way or another, dealers are there to create as much profit as possible. Do your homework. Go and get your trade-in car appraised at a couple of places. Then stick with the average trade value.
Next, find out what your credit score is. This way you will have the upper hand when negotiating a deal. Never go in saying what kind of payment your looking for, if you say a too-high payment, they will find a way to put profit in the deal that you don’t have to pay,,,but do yourself favor budget yourself. Never be afraid to walk away, you may find a better deal just down the street.
