It started with the elegance and the enchantment of designer Sue Wong.  Royalty, celebrities, socialites, and fashionistas came to the beautiful Taglyan Complex for the opening of LA Fashion Week by Art Hearts Fashion.

Before the show began, Sue Wong was recognized for her achievements as an internationally acclaimed designer.  Prince Waldemar mentioned how he has been all over Europe but she is, “The most fantastic fashion queen.”

Sue Wong translates this sentiment in her designs as wearing them makes a woman feel like a queen.  Wong said, “I design with specific intention to liberate and to awaken the Feminine Divine Goddess in each and every woman.”

This season her pieces had an edgy feel reminiscent of a masquerade.  In fact, her collection is entitled Alchemy and Masquerade.   Wong said, “Masks free us from self-consciousness dropping social, psychologic personas that express hidden sides of ourselves.”  She continued with, “Our inner values, pride, confidence and strength do not come from a mask. The real power and alchemy comes from within one’s true self. Does it wear you or do you wear it?”
