Modern science has opened up many wonderous systems to our understanding. As a result of this knowledge we began to associate ourselves as partners with the systems that surround us. Look at our body’s physiological system. Consider our solar system. How about the planet’s natural ecological systems?
Here’s a new one— The automotive Hybrid System. This system is less foreign today because more and more cars are being equipped with hybrid systems.
There are two types of ecologically friendly hybrid systems for cars. The “Full Hybrid” can operate under internal combustion power only, electric power only, or a combination of the two. The “light hybrid” system uses an electric motor to assist the conventional combustion engine. Currently, Toyota and Lexus use full hybrid systems and Honda has designed a light hybrid system for their cars. Other manufacturers are licensing these technologies for their vehicles or designing their own.
Visit your local dealer and surround yourself with a hybrid. Here are a few links to become familiar with some choices.
